The Boom Sessions™ is an education project, sparked by the MPGNZ

(Music Producer Guild of Aotearoa) to encourage our next generation of budding

Producers, Engineers and Musicians. 

 

We know our rangatahi/youth are super talented and don't all fit the Music Education model.

In these Boom Sessions, we want to inspire them now, to be ready for their real world music career and kickstart it now - boom!

 

Supported by Recorded Music, we are currently doing our first pilot project kicking off in October, in Tāmakai Makaurau/Auckland, Aotearoa/NZ.

2022 had a wonderful pilot, introducing 20 new producers to their potential future.

Next up, we have 2023 crew rolling out, as well as plans to expand into other schools
